How long does shipping take?
Most orders ship within 1–2 business days of payment via Canada Post. Delivery typically takes 4–9 business days to most Canadian addresses. Shipping is a flat $5 on every order — no surprises at checkout.
Do you ship outside of Canada?
Canadian addresses only at this time. We use Canada Post and ship anywhere they deliver within Canada.
How does local pickup work?
Free anywhere in the London, Ontario area. After payment is received we coordinate a meetup time and location that works for both of us — usually a public location like a coffee shop or game store within a few days. St. Thomas, Strathroy, Woodstock, and Sarnia are also welcome on coordinated trips. Pickup is by appointment, not a walk-in storefront.
What's the condition like?
Every card is graded against the Face to Face Grading Standards — the same rubric Canada's largest TCG retailer uses. The condition shown on each listing (NM, LP, MP, HP, DMG) is what you'll receive. We err strict on grading — a card that's borderline NM/LP gets listed as LP. Detailed photos available on request before you order.
What if a card arrives damaged or different from the listing?
Email [email protected] within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the issue. If the condition doesn't match what was listed, or the card is the wrong printing/finish, we'll refund or replace at your choice — including return shipping. Full details in our Refund Policy.
What if my package is lost in the mail?
If your order hasn't arrived within 14 business days of shipping, email [email protected] and we'll work with you to make it right — replacement or refund. See our Refund Policy for full details.
How does Interac e-Transfer payment work?
Interac e-Transfer is a Canadian bank-to-bank email money transfer — every Canadian bank supports it through online banking. After your order is reviewed we send payment instructions by email; you log into your bank, send the e-Transfer to the address provided, and we ship once received. No credit card needed, no third-party processor handling your information, no card data stored. Funds settle within minutes.
Do you accept credit cards or PayPal?
No — Interac e-Transfer only. Skipping payment processors keeps prices lower (no 3% fee passed to you) and keeps your card information out of our hands entirely. Every Canadian bank includes Interac at no charge.
Are these real cards or proxies?
Real, authentic Wizards of the Coast Magic: The Gathering cards. We do not sell proxies, fakes, or counterfeit cards.
Where do your card prices come from?
Retail prices reflect current Canadian market values for Magic singles, refreshed regularly. Our base price is 15% off retail; bulk-cart discounts go further (20% off at $100, 25% off at $200). The price shown on every listing is the price you pay before shipping.
How do bulk discounts work?
The cart total drives the discount tier:
- Single card / under $100 cart total: 15% off retail
- $100 cart total: 20% off retail (entire cart)
- $200 cart total: 25% off retail (entire cart)
Tiers apply automatically — no codes to enter. Hitting a higher tier rebates the discount across every card in the cart, not just the one that crossed the threshold.
How fast do you reply to messages?
Within 1 business day on email and Facebook Messenger — usually faster. Andre runs the operation personally, so the reply you get is from the same person who pulled and graded your cards. Late-night and weekend messages get answered the next morning.
Are you a registered business?
Top Deck Cards is a sole proprietorship operated by Andre LeFort, based at 64 Virginia Cres, London, ON N5X 3E8, Canada.
What's the difference between Foil, Etched Foil, and Non-Foil?
Non-Foil is the standard print finish — the version most cards come in. Foil is a shiny, traditional foil treatment with full-card holographic effect. Etched Foil is a textured holographic treatment introduced in 2021, mostly on premium-set cards — you can feel the texture on the surface. Each is listed and priced separately because they're treated as different products in the secondary market.
How do I get a card you don't have listed?
Email or Messenger us with what you're looking for. We don't carry sealed product or singles outside our current inventory, but if there's a card you want we can usually source it within a week from our supplier network and quote you a price.
